Audience with the Jade Queen

Lurking within the cursed Krasta Forest, the once grand capitol of the Kingdom of Masovia lies decaying. The party enters to meet with its final Queen.

Thaleia is the first to enter the Jade Queen's castle, exploring the dilapidated ruin in the dark of the night. After gathering some information and recalling some lore, a Shambling Mound drives the ranger out of the castle, where she waits at the threshold until morning. It is after several hours of waiting that the party finally arrives, finding the path through the woods oddly easygoing. Exploring the castle ruins, exposed to the elements and the choking growth of nature claiming the stones, the party pieces together some of the histories of Masovia before it fell. Along with a pair of greatswords that once belonged to the Giants. It is then they combat the Green Drakes, and pair of Shambling Mounds that haunt the ruin.   Their exploration eventually brings them down the path to the intact epicenter of the castle, the throne room behind two mighty doors. Inside, the miasma that chokes the forest of its light lifts, with the morning sun glowing brightly through the stained-glass windows, giving the place a majestic if slightly green tinged light. And upon her throne, the party find the elegant and beautiful figure, with long green flower laden hair, of the Jade Queen herself.   She regards them with a shocking amount of knowledge, referring to each by name aside from the "Dustwalker" Khorgar. After gauging the moral fiber of each, she offers and accord to empower the party if there were to prevent the world's ending by the wings of the Phoenix.   Khorgar spits upon the ground, his distaste for the Queen palpable. Aestasea is commanded to return the dragon statue that she had stolen to West Krasta, in return for becoming the noble protectorate of that town and Biege. Lillyen is directed to where Mirrorlight Edge can grow in power, the Heart of Parvos Glacier. Thaleia is bestowed Air Render, a mystic bow tied directly to the power of Aeronia. Sid is bestowed the black and green Banner of the Jade Marshall, becoming one of the three last vassals of the Kingdom of Masovia. The other being Myrddin, who is bestowed the Mists of Stormlord's Roost, becoming the Queen's Last Stormlord. And finally, Onyx Brimstone is knighted by the authority of the last monarch of Masovia, a squire no more, and bestowed the weapon of the First King, the mighty Peregrine Spear.   Now armed, and purpose bestowed, the party is sent forth with their gifts, and the power now to challenge the Phoenix itself.
