Nyvorlas

Nyvorlas grew up on the Abandoned Continent on the North Pole, a mysterious realm of ice, snow, and black mountains poking out above it all. The details of her time there are notably absent.   During the Convergence , the Northern Ocean melted for several years, opening the way into the rest of the world. An expedition of attempted by the Snow Elves, but the chaotic nature of the ocean during the celestial event was harrowing, and a wreak of the ship caused the death of all the elves on board, the exception being the youthful wizard Nyvorlas. Narrowly escaping death, she made her way ashore of the Island of Thume, and survived the dangerous forests therein. She was captured by Lady Vol, who studied to curious elf for many years before the two formed a form of cooperation.   Once released from the clutches of Lady Vol, she was instated in the small mystic academy on the western tip of the island run by the Lady herself. Decades would be spent here, learning the magic of the south before she began to form her own spells coupled with northern knowledge. Nyvorlas would become the only creator of cryomancy spells, a secret potentially locked away in the culture of the Snow Elves.   With her original goal still in mind, Nyvorlas would tour Impiltur , adventuring across the land and honing her craft with little oversight restrictions. This tour would expand across the Sea of Fallen Stars and beyond, but she always returned to Thume no matter the distance. She would call the Glacier of the White Wyrm her home however, building a grand castle of ice. She came under the tutelage of Nymbryxion himself, and the two would remain friends and colleagues until the end of her days.   Centuries of creation and refinement would make Nyvorlas world famous for her unique magical skill set. When the previous World Grandmaster of Evocation passed in 600 AC, Nyvorlas was invited to join the Seven to replace him. She would hold this title until she passed away herself in 872 AC, with her legacy of cold magic leaving her mark upon the repertoire of wizards forever more.
