Energized Quartz
Like natural electricity that can be harnessed, energized quartz is a byproduct from the arrival of the Xenodrak. Natural quartz, of all colors, were galvanized upon the Xenodrak's "transportation rock" crashing into earth. Its uses seem to be infinite with the technological advancements of earth.
Properties
Material Characteristics
Regardless of color, energized quartz come in varying sizes, ranging from 6in long with a diameter of 2in, all the way to 4 ft. long with a 2 ft. diameter. As this material is mostly translucent, when one looks at it, they can see surges of electricity coursing through the quartz entirely.
Physical & Chemical Properties
Energized quartz can be hot or cold based on region. One who handles this material may occasionally feel a tingle in their fingers from the electrical pulses. In a powdered form, the electric properties still exist, but the pulsations are removed.
Geology & Geography
Energized quartz is found deep underground in mines, and sometimes on the surface, where natural quartz had been lying before being energized by the cataclysmic event.
Life & Expiration
Energized quartz is a stable material.
History & Usage
History
Regular quartz has mainly been used throughout history as jewelry. As earth became more technologically advanced, scientists found ways to convert gems and minerals into fuel sources for high-tech inventions. When energized quartz was introduced, the advanced tech needed to be upgraded to be able to use the energized quartz as a replacement source of fuel, making all other gems and minerals for high-tech inventions obsolete.
Discovery
Scientists only first discovered the mineral 10 years after the Xenodrak landed on earth.
Everyday use
Energized quartz is primarily used in high-tech weapons, and vehicles as a source of fuel, like gasoline.
Refinement
Energized quartz can be used as is, or be ground up into a powder, making it more concentrated.
Distribution
Trade & Market
Scientists were the first to coin tech revolving around energized quartz. However, as it was not created by people, those scientists do not own the rights to the material. It is rare for random people to stumble upon this material, but is very common for it to be mined by paid organizations, who later distribute the energized quartz to research, scientific, and manufacturing teams, as well as vendors who make, sell, and tinker with high-tech equipment.
Storage
Most energized quartz can be picked up by hand, some larger pieces require other tools to handle them only due to the size. Technology like weapons, vehicles, and other tools that use the energized quartz as fuel, usually have an apparatus that holds the pieces, and drains the energy from them to use as fuel.
Law & Regulation
Scientific, research, and manufacturing teams usually get the "cream of the crop" first, any remaining or unclaimed quartz is then distributed to lower tier people, like vendors. It is however illegal to steal energized quartz from mining organizations, scientific, research, and manufacturing teams.
Energized quartz varies in price by size and color.
There is no odor.
Do not consume. But this material can taste like salt.
Energized quartz comes in many colors, including: pink, milky, smoky, blue, white, colorless, red, purple, orange, yellow and green.
Value Cont.
Eergized quartz is priced first by size, then by color.

Quartz Unit Output
The energized quartz gives out energy in a form of units, like 1, 2, or 3. Units are categorized first by size, then by color. Colorless/Clear is the base for units of size first. i.e. a Colorless/Clear quartz of large size has the same unit numbers as large quartz.
