Lorna the was the only spirit loa ensnared in House Selwyth's sinister spirit loa experiment that was not a Swynfaredian by birth, she was a Borderlander in the wrong time and place.

Lorna was a freelance adventurer and reagent forager operating in the eastern Borderlands, primarily in the area surrounding the Barony of Bees.
She tried to sell some reagents in Swynfaredia and unfortunately came to the attention of Lady Raewen ap Selwyth who kidnapped her as a guinea pig for her spirit loa experiments and took Lorna's stash of reagents to boot.
After her liberation, she learned that her homeland, theBarony of Demos, was usurped by Lady Felicja Wiern and her puppet warlord. She hasn't been home in years, but she is not happy about this regime change.
Lorna would like revenge against Lady Raewen, but she is more upset at the loss of financial opportunity that her imprisonment caused. She asked the oracle of Foroden Forest for tips on making her lost money back and was told that working with Kormatin is profitable. On her long journey with Kormatin's party and the other rescued, she built genuine respect for Kormatin's party, and likes Aleesia and Brigid as friends. She liked to talk about plants with Aleesia and did a lot of sword practice with Brigid.
Since Kormatin gave all the rescued spirit loas 100 silver coins each, she is currently spending her money and relaxing in King's Lake, taking a well-earned break. But she wants to help Kormatin and company rob House Selwyth or topple Lady Felicja in the near future.
