Netherbane

The Dwarven plasma cannon that Xander Ivoryvale attempted to steal. The Netherbane was intended to be an alternative to utilizing the world's magic, generating energy with a reaction between several magical energies. But turned to be an incredibly destructive superweapon if only one mistake was made in utilizing it. If anything went wrong with the combination of magical energies inside, then the entire cannon could explode, and the residual magical energy could kill millions, and lead to detrimental genetic mutations in the offspring of any survivors unlucky enough to be outside of the initial blast zone.   The Dwarves thought it was too great of a risk to use, and king Kardurim Dragonsword ordered it to be sealed away forever. He then proposed a treaty to the rest of the world for nobody to ever use it during wars. Every nation in the world signed it, and the Dwarves continued to research a way to safely destroy the Netherbane.   Thanks to Sayen the Undertaker, it still remains safely sealed away.
