The Five Blood Diamonds of Rentar

The Five blood diamonds are ceremonial items held by the five Generals of the Leading Council of Rentar. Originally, as the myth goes, the diamonds were once white and sat as crown jewels of the Last King of Rentar. When the king was killed by the first generals of rentar, his blood stained the diamonds red, as the myth goes. The diamonds are shaped differently and each has its own myth on the type of leaders who typically hold it.    Emerald Cut: This Diamond is typically associated with generals who focus on law and order. TYpically, troops under these generals follow their orders unreasonably to the letter.    Diamond Cut: An all arounder: generals who have carried this diamond are known for being middle of the road and somewhat unremarkable.    Drop Cut: Shaped like a teardrop or a drop of blood, generals who carry this stone are known for being remarkable, but never living long.    Heart Cut: This gem is associated with leaders who focus on their troops. They are considered good to their people but rarely ruthless enough for battle.    Round Cut: Typically associated with the unofficial leader of the pentarchy. These generals often grow old, a remarkable achievement in a profession where so many die young. Due to their age, the oldest on the council is often somewhat deferred to.    Each diamond is incorporated into both the General's coat of arms and ceremonial armor. The soldiers who follow them will traditionally carry a banner bearing a rendition of their leader's stone.
