Metticus (Mett-i-Khus)

Metticus is an early Sotarian Philosopher famous for his work in proposing the Sotarian Isolationist movement. He wrote in total 5 philosophical epics before his eventual death. His first philosophical work was the most widely important as it lead to many Sotarians wanting to form an isolationist nation. His other philosophical works proposed that the Sotarians keep an emperor position with a minor congress to vote on regional laws, this only partially came to pass. His later works concerned themselves with ways of living morally, theories on the movement of the universe, and some early scientific theories.   Ironically, Metticus died a very emotional death, killing himself on his own sword after the untimely death of his wife. Later Mettican Philosophers focused on living quiet, minamalist lives.
