General Joann Fastolf IV
General Joann Fastolf IV is the unofficial leader of the council of five generals of Rentar. She is known entirely for her powerful strategic mind and impressive skills with the sword. Often a leader from the front, Fastolf IV is loved by her troops, and a dangerous upstart to the older more rear focused generals. This habit of fierce leadership has earned her the nickname, "The Dragon of the North". Due to her popularity, Joann Fastolf IV holds a large amount of sway over the council despite her unpopularity to its older sensibilities.
However, in other nations The Dragon of the North is a feared name, known for never taking prisoners and massacring entire armies. This is a strange system of warmaking as the business of capturing and ransoming armies is an established system. When armies see the Fastolf crest flying over their enemy, they known their battle will be exceptionally bloody. There are rumors that this hardened general does have a softer hobby of painting. These facts have earned Joann her other nickname, "The Red Painter".
