This metal ooze was thought to be a waste material as it was dripping off of the other metal ore in the mines.

Life & Expiration

As long as it's kept in its natural state the ooze like metal is very stable and doesn't seem to do much but corrode other metals. Once it's in the purified form it is highly reactive and will start reacting with the air itself.

it was found in the mines north of Mybar

It is currently used as a fuel source to power airships.
