Knights of Meyo
The Knights of Meyo were a righteousness group that followed a very strict code of conduct. That encoded a list of virtues into each member. While each member had their own virtues to follow and uphold. They would roam the countryside passing on their tenants and helping those in need.
Each center* of these groups would have a testing ground. These testing grounds are kept secret and hidden. As they test not only the mind but the body of those willing to take on the challenges.

History
Knowledge of the knights has been mainly lost in the passing of time. Their temples are found from time to time as cities are built or rebuilt. These temples lead people to believe that the Knights were a peasant's army or something similar.
Disbandment
The knights faded over time as their help was no longer needed as the world slowly became less violent.
