Samsaran

Touched by Asphodia both physically and spiritually, the Samsaran are a people that believe in an endless cycle of life to death, and live it themselves. They find memories of past lives in dreams or drifting upon the winds, perhaps forgetting them as quick as they come, or remembering entire lives previously lived.   They are a sky-blue skinned humanoid, often with rounded ears like humans, though this may change over successive reincarnations. Their hair is cloud-white a shade of blue, and even rarely purple. They stand similar height to a human.

Heritages

Samsaran will choose heritages of wherever they find their travels to be, and usually take on the culture of wherever they go, or pick up pieces of all those they find. They are usually not attached to such things, instead finding faith in people or constants like the stars and planes.
They may choose to change their heritage to that of the local area after living there for 1 year, or being reborn there.

Ancestry Feats

Martial Ally - 1 - Choose a weapon. You gain training in it, and when your training would increase, it increases as well. This type of weapon always come naturally to you in all your lives. A single weapon is also an heirloom of all your lives. You start with a regular weapon under 2gp, and may upgrade it normally. If you would ever lose this weapon, there is a DC5 flat check each day for you to miraculously find it again. If it is destroyed, you find one identical to it down to every marking and enchantment upon your next reincarnation.
Immortal Memories - 1 - (Only can be taken if you have reincarnated at least once.) - You gain a dedication feat of a class you held in a previous life.
Immortal Knowledge - 1 - You gain two skills. Train one of your choice that you were skilled in in a previous live. You gain expert training in Lore (Last Reincarnation), which is a very specific and rarely useful skill that lets you recall knowledge from your immediately previous reincarnation. Usually about 100 years ago.
Serene Meditation - 1 - You may meditate as a 1-minute ability and attempt a basic counteract check with a spell level equal to half your level against any magical effect affecting you. This can only be done once per effect, but can be attempted for other effects.
Healing Meditation - 1 - A samsaran can enter a meditative state as a 10-minute activity when beneath the sky, at the end of which they take 1d10 freedom damage, which will heal those who are generally being true to their own goals and not oppressing others. At 3rd level, and every 2 levels thereafter, this healing increases by 1d10. Once a samsaran has recovered Hit Points in this way, they are temporarily immune to further uses of Sunlight Healing for 1 day.
Uncontrollable - 1 - You gain a +2 circumstance bonus to any enemy's magical effect that would slow you or control your actions. When you succeed versus such an enemy's effect, you may make a reaction to Stride and gain 1d4 temporary hit points.   Storytime - 5 - (Cannot be taken in one shots) - It is time to tell your tale, and then become reborn. When you succeed at a death saving throw, you may choose to immediately gain twice your level in hit points and take your full turn, losing Dying as normal. If you do this, you become permanently Doomed 1, and this stacks with the condition. This means that four uses of this ability will kill you without death saves, and two is already near-fatal.
