Rahul
Rahul was a Desert Scarab of Tharsis in The Bronze Sea. When the Raptured prowled Tharsis at night, dark beings whose soul has left their living body, which wanders on, Rahul killed them. Harming the dead is a grave offense in The Guardian Faith as it is worshiped in the Bronze Sea, as it directly influences the soul in the afterlife. The soul uses their body still, and without it cannot live in death, let alone ever find peace. It was because of this that Rahul and his contingent of men were exiled.
Rahul met with The "Guardians" of Al-Mosak on the edge of the Tharsisian Oasis, as they were heading back after a failed attempt at fighting Mazekstan. He advised them to steer clear of a nest of Undead that his men were moving to eradicate.
Rahul was met again, alongside Vida Maza, without his men. Rahul had found Vida in the desert, and accompanied her northward as she searched for the elite mercenary group. Rahul was headed to the Necropolis, the last stronghold of The Bone Keepers, those that preserve and honor the dead. It was revealed that all his men died in that attack. Rahul had turned into a sort of alcoholic, drinking from a flask to "better deal with the worlds toils." The group decided to go with him to the Necropolis.
