Session 66

Going Even Deeper

  • The party continues into the second floor of the obsidian castle.
  • The party arrives in a "safe room" before venturing forward, and they can rest for a short time.
  • As soon as the party is done, they open the doors to the next room and crash into a meal room of kishi demons, flipping the table and throwing spears. The party can kill the demons and take their heads.
  • Muta Curious runs into a room to the east and can deduce that there is a trap, but instead of disabling the trap, they run right into it, enabling it, causing fire to engulf the room. Alkinn runs after Muta into the room and gets lost in the fire, but can emerge from the other side with Muta.
  • The rest of the party explores to the south.

A Circle and a Golem.

  • The party enters a room with a metal golem in the middle of it, and the party deduces that this is the golem that Muta was trying to find for Irgretch.
  • The group with the golem finds what seems to be a transportation circle. They all go into the circle and try it; it takes the party in all different directions, except Myrion.
  • Lazarus is taken to a room with engulfing coins, and as this happens, Muta and Alkinn arrive in that room from the other side of the floor, and they save Lazarus.

The Abyss.

  • The rest of the party helps Lazarus from the shiny coins engulfing him. Myrion stands in the circle and is transported to the abyss.
  • Lost, not knowing quite sure what to do, Myrion searches for a way out. What feels like weeks in the abyss, He finds a black portal with a stone devilish gate as the form, meanwhile, the party continues through the dungeon and comes across the same face, but in the dungeon.
  • Muta sticks her hand through the abyss, and something grabs her. She pulls away and pulls Myrion with her. Seeming to be cursed, Alkinn casts a spell and helps Myrion Up.

Activating the Iron Devil

  • The party opens the face instead of going through the portal, and uncovers a place with bartering demons. The party loads up on supplies and continues forward.
  • The party eventually makes their way back to the golem, and Muta takes out the vial that Irgrech gave her.
  • Instead of immediately putting the vial into the golem, she opens the vial and puts some of her own blood into the vial. She inserts the vial and the golem wires to life.
  • The golem introduces himself as a golem of Benjamin Thann, but suddenly glithes and introduces himself as Zor, the servant of Irgretch and Muta.
  • Muta updates Golem on their current objective, and it springs to life, killing the rest of the demons on the level.

The Elevator

  • Zor can lead the party to the next entrance to the floor below, an elevator shaft.
  • Zor asks Muta to proceed down the shaft, and he does. The party raises the Elevator in the shaft but does not have any proof of Zor going through the platform.
  • The party goes on the elevator, it lowers, then suddenly stops and starts moving horizontally. The party leads to another unexpected area.
