Session 60

No rest for the curious

  • As the party gets tired of the constant skeleton jokes that Arthur Tells they find a place to stay before setting out for the day, Myrion however decides to track the goblin that they encountered before.
  • He tracks a trail to the lower levels of Trynard, and to a hidden house hanging high right under the top level. He uncovers secrets of the thieves guild through a metting between the goblin and another larger goblin boss.
  • Myrion Sneaks in the building by going invisible, and holds the smaller goblin at knife point without causing a scene, Myrion is able to get information out of the smaller goblin about Muta and he agrees to help the Party whenever they decide to infiltrate the Thieves guild.
  • Leaving Myrion leave the small goblin gold to reinforce his deal.

Traveling Toward A Corpse

  • The next moring will all their supplies gathered the party sets out toward the Dead Monkey.
  • Halfway to the town they come across an decrepit old man trying to get their attention, Idris immedianty interested tries to talk to the old man in his native launguage (Clicking and Clocking with the mouth) . Apparently the old mans name Warm Claw and he was looking for the "Ones to Open the Oven". He becokons the party to follow him.
  • Idris explains that this is a citizen of the Dead Monkey and he is supriesed because he is not attacking them because citizens of The Dead Monkey are usally canables.

A Dead Monkey and a deadly entrance.

  • Warm Claw lead the party to a decrepit part of the woods, and this lead to a town surrounding a black obolisk. This was the Dead Monkey.
  • A group of canibals guards the entrerance but Warm Calw calls them off with clicks from his mouth, Idris discovers that Warm Claw is actually the current leader of the Dead Monkey.
  • The gates open and Warm Claw leads the party to the base of the obolisk. The Dead Monkey Clan rushes down the enterance into the ruins below. The party causiously follows untill they are met with a small ruin.
  • After some exploring the ruins and running into orbs that have the affects of the 7 deadly sins. A "Knock" or kicking down a door from wild they see Warm Claw and his clan was waiting on them in the main chamber. The floor filled with ritulisitc markings and a malicious door

A Ritual to hell.

  • Idris communicates with Warm Claw and he discovers that he has the missing piece to the ritual that they needed to get to hell, Warm Claw agrees to give the missing piece as long as they open the door.
  • The party agrees and Idris starts the ritual, suddenly the whole of the Dead Monkey Clan is frenzyed by a rage affect targeting Idris, the party defends Idris and it eventually ends in a blood bath of the Dead Monkey Clan
  • Unkowingly the blood was part of the ritual, and it pools into a sphere in the center of the room. Two small demons summon from the blood sphere and they open the menacing door into a red glowing enterance.
  • The party, Idris, and Arthur enter the door and fall into the depths of hell, their fall slowed to a gracful drop and another door leading to the first layer of hell, Avernus.
  • The party steps into the first layer and looks up at what seems to be the obolisk turned into a large pillar reaching into the sky, they are inside of a fortress of hell.
  • Suddenly lightning strikes the obsidan pillar and fragments of the fortress fall onto the party, but before they are able to hit them it stops!
  • Arthur using his matter moving power tells the part to carry on while he tries to hold the enterance open, the party rushes forward, wild seeing the tip of arthurs boney finger crack, knowing that they need to be quick with their quest.
