Session 58
A Counsel Above All
- Vokril explains to the party that there is a meeting inside the cathedral about the artifact that is missing.
- The Party walks into the large cathedral, and it turns out the building is used for meetings between celestials and gods of good nature.
- They barge their way into the meeting, and the god Tire is interrupted in his speech by Izen and Lazarus. Tire looks over at a man with disappointment, that man being Lazaruses' father. Not knowing that an actual god is there, the party speaks out against the meeting and is met with some arguments.
- Lazarus's father seems to be in the middle ground with the arguments.
- The party and the Celestials eventually agree to retrieve the artifact from the clutches of Kush the demon.
A Humble House in the Sky
- Idris (Lazarus's Father) meets a Humble House in the sky. He attends the party outside the cathedral and apologizes for the outburst in the meeting and welcomes the party to Mount Celestia. Lazarus and his father seem to avoid each other from time to time.
- After some more introductions and discussion, Lazarus and Idris make their way to Idris's Home, and the rest of the party find a place to rest while in Mount Celestia.
- With some traveling, Lazarus finally arrives at Idris's home in the sky, and it is an exact copy of the farmhouse that Lazarus grew up in. Idris goes into his home to get some things ready while Lazarus inspects the stables.
- Lazarus discovers a carving of Idris's past life and the meeting between him and his wife (Lazarus's Mother). It shows Idris falling from Mount Celestia to stay with her, and the story unfolds to tell that Idris was eventually forced away from Lazarus's mother and was told to come home. A newer carving depicts Lazarus growing up, and it depicts the adventures he had in his life.
- Idris comes out of his house to greet Lazarus and explains that he had been watching him his whole life, not wanting to miss out on his son's life.
- Idris and Lazarus make their way back into the House to research how to get to hell to retrieve his mother
A Ritual to Release Evil
- With some time, Lazarus and Idris discover a ritual to open a door into hell to get there, which requires a celestial, an asimar, and a powerful demon's blood.
- Lazarus pulls the vial given to him from Solus and says that he seemed to be part undead/demonic.
- Lazarus and Idris then do more research through the night to uncover the location of the door, which is found in the town of The Dead Monkey.
A Visit to an all-powerful being.
- The Myrion, Muta, Alkinn, Wild, Nice Darpon, and Izen make their way to a cheaper tavern in Mount Celestia.
- Everyone settles for the night and goes to their separate rooms.
- Myrion, while sleeping, hears a knock on his door. He gets up and opens the door, and it immediately sucks him into a void with float doors. His door shuts behind him, and he is pulled toward a large door. Upon getting closer, this door pulls him into it, and he is plopped onto a field.
- A familiar friend greets him. Samo pulls Myrion up and explains to him that he is needed for a meeting with someone.
- Samo led Myrion to a small shack in the middle of a field. Upon opening the door inside, a huge cathedral with red-stained windows, nowhere near as small as the shack of the door. Samo tells Myrion to have a seat, and Samo leaves the room.
- Myrion, sitting and looking around, notices that in an instant the pews of the cathedral disappear, and the only chair in the room is the one he is sitting in.
The Lady Of Pain
- A presence appears in the cathedral, paralizing Myrion with fear.
- The Presence appears in the form of a woman figure, and it introduces itself as the Lady of Pain.
- The Lady of Pain has a request for Myrion to stop Darpon and figure out what he is seeking; she says that he could be a potential threat to her.
- Myrion hesitantly asks for a symbol to show that he works for her, and The Lady of Pain tells Myrion that there will be something in the future that he will find.
- In an instant, the cathedral returns to its original state, and Myrion looks out the window and sees the multiple worlds tethered together with magical strings, a particularly large one jutting from his.
- Samo leads Myrion to the exit, and in an instant, he is transported back to his room in the tavern. Samo says goodbye and wishes him and his party luck with achieving their goal.
