Session 48

The island that holds a dark mystery - The crew makes their way to the next island

• With Ramsey thinking that black heart might be hot on their tail since the last island visit.
• The Flying Feather made its way to an island with an extremely shallow shore, and the party had to trudge their way through the knee-deep water for about an hour before even getting to dry land.
• Above the island sat a huge magnetic rock levitating in the air, and on the island seemed to sit a castle.
• The party makes their way up the cliffside into the castle, and inside is a dungeon awaiting them.

The Dungeon holds a dark secret - The party puzzles and fights their way through a murky dungeon.

• Springing a trap inside the dungeon causes Jim to sacrifice himself to save Alkinn and Izen.
• Complicated puzzles in the dungeon caused creatures to latch onto the party as well.
• The party discovers a large casam under the island in the dungeon, and it seems to be the source of the large rumbles that wild had been hearing for the time that they were in the dungeon. The casam is littered with cuthulu-style carvings.

The Kraken and the Dark Book

• The party stumbles into the chamber, and large tentacles surround them all, one with the golden skeleton of Jim attached to it. The beast speaks to the party, telling them to leave, but they do not.
• After satisfying the kraken with the combat that ensued, the beast told them to take a book in exchange for the ioun stone. The party immediately agreed, escaping the dungeon afterward. The book is a magnet to izen.
• Lazarus and Samo collect the final ingredient in the recipe from the kraken.
• After leaving the castle, the party immediately noticed that gunfire was heard from the ship, a massive black ship was destroying the flying feather.

A tragedy and a miracle

• The party rushes to the ship to find the crew dead and the ship destroyed. Black Heart caught up to them.
• Black Heart demanded the treasure within the castle, and Izen begrudingly gave the evil captain the dark book found within the dungeon.
• As the cursed ship leaves the stranded party on the dark island, Samo invokes the power of his god and restores the ship and the crew. Meanwhile, the ship in the distance is attacked by a very familiar duck and a large kraken. The black heart ship sinks.
• From using his power, Samo sinks into a coma.

The Final Island

• As the party frantically tries to find a way to wake Samo back up, the map is updated a final time, with the final destination together.
• The Crew makes their way to the final island, smaller than a porch.
• The Recipe was invoked at the small stone cauldron on the island, with samo being the final ingredient.
• Samo wakes up from the spell, but has no memory of the party, and a set of special necklaces was crafted as well. He gives them to Lazarus and Myrion.
• Samo turns into his coutal form and flies away, thanking them for helping him.
