The Creator
The Creator is a mysterious entity that is responsible for the creation of the entire universe with it's varied planes and dimensions. He is so secretive, that the vast majority of people on the material plane do not know he exists. He sits atop the highest peak in Heaven and Angelkind are his most devoted servants, but if he chooses to intervene in worldly affairs he will often do so through other means than sending his emissaries. He prefers to guide the world towards a greater state of balance and as such, he does not align himself solely with the those who are Good, and instead has an abiding love for the neutral and the chaotic, and will even nudge Evildoers in the name of building a better world. His powers are limitless, but he rarely uses them, as free will was a gift he bestowed upon all the living souls across time and space. He does not command, he guides. He does not punish, he mourns. He does not hate, he loves.
He leaves the governance of the universe largely in the hands of various deities as he seeks to allow a vibrant world to guide it's own destiny. Though he does not shy away from engineering challenges for even the most powerful deities to face and press the powerful into a state of deeper respect for the mortal races and the weakest across the realms. He may have a plan, but if he does it is quite well hidden even from the Angels who are closest to him so that no one can truly understand his purposes as time marches on. We do not know if the world is eternal, or fated to End... if there is an End, one can hope that the diverse people across this reality will, in the end, know peace and spend eternity on the white shores of a far green country, under a swift sunrise, with the friends and family they came to cherish while living.
