Aasimar

During the Flood, the rampages of the angels lead to large areas being consecrated or hallowed. Humans living in these areas were affected by the divine magic, and this led to the birth of the aasimar, who wander the wasteland to this day.   Aasimar feel conflict in regards to how they live their lives-- they are mortal, but they will outlive all of their human friends and loved ones. As such, many choose to live lives as hermits or wanderers, helping others but remaining detached.   Those aasimar that feel anger and sadness at their inability to fit in and live normal lives may fall from grace. These disaffected aasimar are known as "fallen," and they can be incredibly dangerous to themselves and others.
