The Sommerwald

The greatwood preserved through the Scourging and the centuries that followed by the dying gasp of a goddess. A combination of the geography and the infusion of fae magic make the forest resistant to attempts to tame, control, or understand it. It is near cancerous in it's size and density, overflowing with both magic and life-energies. In it's depths lies the Emerald Hollow, the sanctum of Elvenkind and the site of their infant world-tree.
