The Grand Duchy of Che
Once the easternmost province of the Empire, Che was able to use its distance and relative autonomy to declare its independence in 1403 DR. The tiny Duchy managed to somehow resist the might of the Empire, though certain scholars indicate that it may simply not have been worth the effort The Immortal Empress would spend reconquering it. Che is largely isolationist, but does support The Free Cities Accord through trade. Although still at war with the empire, no battle has been fought in over a human generation.

Highly isolationist, the Duke of Che stays out of most political matters, but seems to bear a grudge against the Empire.
