Bosco

Bosco is the oldest, angriest, and most reliable trike in the Jedson Outfit. Over his long life he has reliably led more than fifty drives from Vickson to The Cities and killed at least 38 Tyrannosaurs.

Despite being the best lead in the history of the outfit (or perhaps the best lead in history) most wrangles shudder at the thought of the ancient beast. According to Old Man Jedson, Bosco has killed sixteen wranglers, but those who have worked for the Jedsons know Bosco's wrath has claimed far more lives than the old man will ever admit.

Bosco's reputation is well known throughout the Unified Territories and many wranglers have refused to work for the outfit simply they're afraid of him. Despite this, Old Man Jedson refuses to replace Bosco, saying that the trike will retire when he's ready.

History

Early Trauma

Bosco hatched early in the spring of 1712 at the Jedson Ranch. In those days the operation was still young and Bosco's arrival brought the ranch to an even thirty head of livestock. However, the ranch's early success almost came to a halt when a pair of tyrannosaurs begin picking off the livestock, including Bosco's mother when they broke through a fence in the early morning. Bosco's mother fought long enough to allow the outfit to secure the hatchlings, but she died in the fight. In the aftermath Bosco was left with an undying hatred for all tyrannosaurs.

First Drive

Witnessing the death of his mother left Bosco alone, angry, and protective. At a year old he fought his first tyrannosaur, a young male that had slipped through a broken fence. According to Old Man Jedson, Bosco reacted as soon as he smelled his foe, breaking down the wall of the corral and initiating a bloody fight. While he won, he was badly wounded the old man decided to leave him at the ranch.

When the drive left, however, Bosco would not be left behind. He once again broke free and, after a brief confrontation with the lead bull, took up his rightful place at the head of the herd.

Accomplishments

While Old Man Jedson brags about Bosco's kill count, he is in fact wrong. During his life Bosco has killed fifty three tyrannosaurs and seventy two wranglers.
