Esynsia, The Exalted Healer (Ae'syn'cia)

Esynsia was a once half-elven woman and a talented healer from Sanctuary who ascended to divinity. While she was considered a compassionate soul, her fierce will to preserve life deemed her a place among the scarce pantheon of Sanctuary. Over the ages as a life-giving demigod, she sacrificed her mortal avatar on Caerothian soil to preserve her last temple against The Arcane Plague. With her martyrdom, her last temple still stands as it did before the plague.   "Life is the opposition to death. Without life, the forces of Mort'gar will reenter this realm that the maven claimed as our domain. Life will prevail until my last breath even if I have to sacrifice the thing I dearly love; Life!" - Esynsia, Her last sermon after the plague ravaged the realm.  

Description

Pre-ascension Esynsia was known for her Vibrant red hair, smooth elven skin and kindred eyes that adored life and all its miracles. As a deity, Esynsia appeared as a stoic face with an eternal love for life in all forms and vengeance for those who bring unjust death to those not deserving of it.  

Personality

While records show Esynsia as a caring soul, many records also describe her as a fierce warrior of life, protecting life no matter the origin, believing all life could be cultivated and grown into deserving denizens of Sanctuary. She was caring and sympathetic in her actions, but at times when life was threatened her will turned into a vanguard against those opposing her.  

Divine Realm

As a demi-god, Esynsia did not immediately claim a domain but went on a massive pilgrimage, Her Essensaea so to speak, and discovered many forms of life among the material plane. With her love for life, she settled in the valley along a lush grove of trees in the Lokdorien Mountains. She had amassed a group of followers along her Essensaea and those who followed her here built the holy ground for the First Temple of the Exalted Healer.  

Powers

Esynsia possessed a number of wondrous power, including the capability to mend missing body parts of limbed beings, restore a severed soul to its host and revitalise those around her presence. She is immune to natural diseases, mind-controlling powers, age-altering magic and a variety of other debilitating effects. Her sensory perception extended far beyond that of mortal beings up to a range of 5 miles. At any time Esynsia can appear near trees as with the use of Transport via Plants within the 5-mile radius of her first temple.
