Churn Falls
The waterfall at the northeast end of the Nightriver constantly roars, a dull hum that pervades all of the Wash. The closer one gets, the more violent and cacophonous the sound is. This waterfall is five hundred feet in height, deadly to almost anyone who falls down it. But yet, at the bottom a deep pool, deeper still than the height of the falls, catches all sort of detritus. Anything is liable to be lurking in these depths. Creatures spilled over from elsewhere in the deep. Monsters that take and swallow people whole. There is a reason no one wants to live in the Wash. The things that go splash in the night take their toll on the people here.
