Wild Time

Inside the Bahir rift lurk dangerous bubble of what officials call Feywild Chronal Displasia but what the locals call Wild Time. After the cataclysms that brought multiple worlds into convergence the Bahir Rift region had multiple of these bubbles spring up across the surface, above and below. Once inside you were subject to the strange laws that effect time in the Feywild. There are documented cases of people venturing inside for a few moments and returning as wizened versions of themselves who have experience centuries in an instant. In other cases they have entered and spent a pleasant afternoon and found that thousands of years of Saharn time has passed.

It took years after the events just started happening but procedures were put in place to help those affected and barricades were erected around these bubbles to prevent accidental crossings. The Crown created the Ministry of Displacement who worked tirelessly to help those displaced, even going so far as to open an embassy within the Feywild to help transitions and rescue lost souls before the effects of Wild Time can displace them. In recent years they have hired out the work of manning the barricades to G.A.C, guards whose adventurous backgrounds better prepare them for the strangeness that might emerge from the Rift.

There is technically no law against passing into areas of Wild Time and although people are discouraged from doing so they are within their rights to enter, although the M.O.D does have specialised forms that relinquish them from reponsibiliy for these people when they return. However there is one exception to this rule. The Bleakscar is a bubble of Wild Time that appears perpetually black from the outside. All manner of terrible creatures spill out from the bubble at random intervals. Nobody knows how or why but every time they emerge they have changed and adapted to the methods the defenders of G.A.C throw against them.
