Mans Tongue

Every other race uses the common Mans Tongue thanks in part to human expansion. As humanity has travelled farther and faster than all other species man's tongue has spread over most of the world. The language came from early human interactions with the archfey which mans tongue takes most of their alphabet from. While it did not become rich with elaborate words it has grown over time as it has assimilated dialects and other species words and phrases that fit into common use. Due to the inclusion of some words a number of older human words have fallen out of use and are now considered a separate dialect of mans tongue called the ancient tongue, while there were attempts to preserve and utilize the dialect this has thus far failed due to words and phrases being far too broad and unable to be used with the finesse that mans tongue has.
