The Nomadic Sands
The Nomadic Sands is an area in the northern Setari Desert. It is the area most filled with small oases, making it viable for groups to live in the area, As the name would suggest, the area is filled with small nomadic groups, mostly those who follow the oasis flow to stay hydrated in the blistering heat. These groups are usually made of Leonin, Loxodon, and Lizali, who are suited to deal with the heat of the desert day and the chill of the desert night.
The groups are slightly territorial, especially when it comes to Humans and Gnomes due to the weird probing from Mendori officials about passage through the desert. They also consistently need to watch out for bandits who wander the sands, trying to take a hard earned hunt for an easy meal, becoming aggressive if unknown folks come toward their hunting parties. With all that being said, when travelers show their kindness the nomads take them in with open arms. It comes from a culture forged in harsh environments, where friends could be the difference between life and death for both parties. That being said, they don't go into the deep sands. There are too many monsters and natural dangers to make anything out there worth it. And beyond even that, there are legends of a titanic monster that roams the sands, eating everything in its path.
