Anani
Anani are a species of Spider-Folk, adapted to survive and thrive in nearly every environment worldwide. Originating from evolved arachnids, they keep their octopedal bodies while attuning to Sapience.
Animalian Anani look like regular spiders, having the Beast creature type. However, their size can range from the typical tiny/small size of non-sapient spiders to up to medium and even large, standing about as tall as a common hominid at their tallest.
Hominid Anani stand bipedal and have arms ending in fingers, but also have two appendages protruding from each side of their midsection. They also have the four eyes and mandibles present on spiders , as well as full-body setae. Half-Breed Anani, while still having mandibles and extra eyes, are lacking the extra appendages that other Anani have. They both have the Hominid creature type.
Anani are very special in that they have another subgroup among them. Known as the Drider, these Anani more closely resemble Centaurs in their physiology, having the torso and head of a Homodial species (mostly elven but with some slight variation) and the thorax and legs of a spider. They are large in size and considered the monstrosity type.
