Fallen Edge is the last great bastion of the Kingfisher Empire. It was both a terror in the sky and in the sea, a nation of semi-aquatic birdmen who once held a significant portion of land in the western part of Rygat. But after a turn in the tide of their warfare, they've been pushed back to their last city, their former capital where a mysterious power protects the inhabitants, but only within the city center. Many have tried to conquer this last bastion, but all have failed thanks to the power that protects it. What this power is is a mystery that those who wish to deal the finishing blow are still researching. Since this is the only protection the people of Kingfisher Empire has against their enemies, you rarely see them venture far beyond their borders, but they still harbor dreams of regaining their former glory and are highly suspicious of outsiders.
