Divine
"Belief is a powerful source of power for those strong of faith. To such people, they tend to forget what isn't their faith." - Kraytos of The Opened MindDivine Magic comes from their faith to a god of higher power, but comes to them in different ways. The most common way is the path of a Paladin. This requires you to drink liquified Cryselia while praying to your god for power on a daily basic. The first time is an intense experience that has the risk of death to it, but should one survive it, you will gain the power of your conviction to your god. But Cryselia can be a very addicting substance, making it hard to walk away on if you ever wish to end your life as a Paladin.
The second path is that of a Cleric, or in some places called Priests. These individuals have gained the favor of their god. If a god think you a worthy champion to their cause, they will test you. This test is different for each god, but will most of the times not be known until the test is over. If you should pass the test, you have been deemed worthy and gain tremendous powers to serve the cause of your god. Should you ever betray the trust placed upon you, the god will take away the power and smite you for your foolish actions.
Aarakocras, Aasimars, Bugbears, Centaurs, Dragonborns, Dwarves, Goblins, Goliaths, Half-Elves, Halflings, Half-Orcs, Hobgoblins, Humans, Kenku, Leonins, Lizardfolks, Minotaurs, Orcs, Satyrs, Tieflings, and Tritons are the races with most affinity for the Divine magic. It is possible for other races to posses Divine magic, but these are extremely rare and more often than not weaker than those with high affinity.
