Clifford Wolfe the Gravewalker

Clifford Wolfe was once a common gunslinger from a rural town. Most-known for his uncommon choice to add pieces of armor to his attire, Wolfe commonly wore armored gauntlets and boots, as well as a belt with a pair of tassets attached to protect his nether regions. Much like many other gunslingers, Clifford was once known as an outlaw. He would wield his firearms with reckless abandon and held no respect for the law or its enforcers.   One day, Clifford arrived to his ancestral family home, only to find it ablaze, his family trapped in the burning building. Risking his own life, he went in and managed to save his parents. His brother, however, was already dead when he arrived, burned alive. He single-handedly buried his brother, his parents still with the town's healers, getting their burns treated.   But while he was burying his brother, something strange happened. He heard his brother's voice speaking to him, promising the power to enact his vengeance. Implicitly trusting his brother, he accepted the power, and was rewarded with an ethereal chain attached to his right gauntlet that wrapped around the shovel used to bury his brother, transforming it. The resultant shovel seemed far more like a weapon.   Over time, he learned that this power also came with arcane magic, ironically all fire-based.   Using the transformed shovel as his main melee weapon, his classic firearms as his ranged weapons and the magical powers as a supplement to all his abilities, he went out seeking vengeance for his hurt family and his murderer brother.
