Antarillion

The continent of Antarillion, located in the southwest of the former Regal empire, is a large continent with a wide variety of environments and cultures, with a history stretching back to before the precursors of the first humans spread across the land.   From the jungles of Utuluss to the Venom Marsh, from the cloud forest of Tar Thuyan to the scorched and rolling highlands of Ssunmsoth and Arochur, from the war-torn sands of the Cor Yok tribes to the rich quarries of the Span of Noon, and all the Antaril cities between the Shoals of Niure and Hosar's Vigil, there is danger and adventure and history lurking behind every door and beneath every stone.

Geography

In broad strokes, the geography of Antarillion can be divided into five major regions; the Gravelands, the Mesas, the Fields of Battle, the Utuque Lowlands, and the Lost Hills.   The Gravelands, where the Regalia warred with the peoples of the Antarils, starts in the west, with the Shoals of Niure, the Spine of Sokhare, the Ko Phuri desert, the expansive Ghatha Basin, the hills of Dhujam, the Tears of Mhobin, the hills of Achik, the Throat of Tefur, Nkutan's Teeth, the Teth Marabi Wood, the Beshabi Wood, the Ankharebi Wood, the Edge of Dawn, Hosan's Vigil, the Bay of Dreams and Kesan Cay.   The Mesas Sokhare and Ankhare are immense, dominating landmarks that feature cracked wastes and isolated climbs beyond the reach of most humans. Significant areas of the rarely seen mesas include the Suyum Span, the Asthu Span, the Mhotan Bed, the Windwarren, Dunburrow, Bajakbi Wood, the Bridge of Darak, the Eye of Darak, the Pillar of Yashure, and the Court of the Sun.   The Fields of Battle include Reshmathar, the Valley of Shrieks, the Dunes of Qomon, the Bay of Silver, the Hungering Sands, the Dustbelly, Anath's Hand, the Malitya Fields, the Coast of Cowards, the Steps of Chankar, Utukepata, the Green Coast, Bloodgrove, the Heart of Stone, the Veil, Leoti Span, Besha Span, Toahk Grove, Lentar Grove, Ballambi Wood and the Rajani Steps.   The Utuque Lowlands includes the endless twists and overgrowth of the Utukhian Jungle, which grows the thickest in Tar Thuyan and Tarth Mavra, the Utuluss Vale, the Patjobi Basin, the Sea of Dragons, the Strand of Songyom, the Akimal Basin, the Sea of Leaves, the Kesanjan Basin and the Marsh of Ssal Rith Mhak. The cloud forest of Tar Elhem and the cloud plains of Yu Satal are not commonly identified, but stand within this region as well.   The Lost Hills are rarely travelled by humans, but possess broad areas that are identified in theory in the civilised world, but unexplored. They include the Shield Bluff, the Serpent's Egg, the Mudawin Vale, the Adamant Hills, the Shoal of Adorn, the Adornabi Grove, the Ahrimani Wastes, and the Field of Drums.
