Fsaat

Fsaat are a Cinpruxt mythical creature. They are skeleton manifestations of Cthuung, with the bones of a human but the skull of a deer, even hunched over they stand seven feet tall. As Cthuung is a time of rest, a sacred season, Fsaat are harbingers of death, silently visiting the living to escort them to their eternal rest. Some resist, some go willingly, but all fear them. They are mindless, soulless creatures, abstract essences without will or words. They simply embody the will of nature. During the bitter winter, hunting parties might spot them aimlessly drifting through the barren lands, and will hide and pray to the divine nature to spare them.
