Everett Bonnepark
The current Primalact of Grimspeak, Everett was brought back from death by the prayers of kuo toa. A clan of kuo toa found his bones in a shipwreck, and something about them caught their eye. They brought him back, and began praying to the bones. And if enough kuo toa belive something is divine, it becomes so. By the power of their maddened prayers brought the dead nobleman back as a skeleton. Their faith also provided their new god with some divine power, granting the magic of a warlock.
Originally, Everett was a nobleman in an ancient kingdom, but a natural disaster destroyed his homeland. He was fortunate enough to be out at sea when the catastrophe hit, but unfortunate enough to be within the resulting storm's reach. His ship was sunk, and everyone on board died. He doesn't know how long he was down there, but he does know that everything he knew and everyone he loved is gone. Now he's a lone skeleton, out of time in this world.
