Umfey's Quay

Located on the eastern tip of the region, not far from the edge of the Malestrom lay the ruins of the pre-cataclysm city of Felfthyr • Largely unexplored, the city ruins are thought to be cursed o During The Upheaval the ruins were first discovered by The Emissaries of Umfey, a group of monks looking not for war, but for a place to settle and quietly live their lives o The isolation and proximity to the Malestrom appealed to them, as Umfey was a tempest spirit o The monks lived peacefully in the ruins for 7 seasons and although the conditions were harsh they prospered o The lore tells us that during the 8th season one of the monks made a journey into the Duskfall mountains to meditate o Upon their return several days later, the monk found the settlement just as they had left it, only there was not a single living soul around o All the provisions and domiciles were intact and there was pots of food hanging over burned out fires, it was like everyone had just disappeared o When the monk looked to the Malestrom in hopes of communing with Umfey, they saw Radaruu, the rune of sacrifice, amongst the swirling clouds o It is said that anyone who approaches the ruins can still see Radaruu in the Malestrom o Radaruu:
