Porters

Porters are mages who are skilled enough and have been trained in the use of teleportation magic.  They often have their own Teleportation circles that they have established and maintain control over, but are able to transport individuals great distances.  All controlled by The Transportation Guild under strict supervision and licensing of The Science Guild they are a controlled commodity.  The secrets of teleportation magic are strictly controlled, and can only be taught to mages who have proven their skills in all aspects of magic.  Porters who choose to leave their station must undergo treatment to remove their knowledge on how to teleport.  In most cases those trained will work until they don't have the strength to cast spells anymore.   Porters are paid handsomely, with each setting their own pricing.  Porters can be hired through any The Transportation Guild or The Science Guild halls.
