Isoyanaes

Originally known as Isyonaes, it now is commonly referred to as 'The Graveyard of Rust'.  Once a capital city of one of the preeminent countries in Ier-nor, the city was devastated during the Cataclysm.  A large chunk of mountain that landed in the center of the once grand palace looms over the ruins as reminder.  The ground here has been tainted by some unknown means, and anyone who has tried to setup permanent settlement would grow sick and die.  Ruins of newer structures as people tried to repopulate the area show that most people succumb to the sickness in approximately 2 years.  Velocistorm was built in a section nearby that is unaffected by the blight.  While still approximately 30km away, it is not uncommon to see expeditions from the city into the ruins, as old technology and many raw materials are still being found and gathered.
