Illithilich

Illithiliches, also known as illithid liches or mind flayer liches, are a terrifying fusion of mind flayer and lich. They combine the psionic abilities of mind flayers with the dark necromantic power of liches, making them incredibly dangerous.

Transformation:

An illithid becomes an illithilich through a ritual that merges its psionic essence with necromantic magic, often involving the sacrifice of significant psionic energy and dark rituals.  

Abilities:

Illithiliches have powerful psionic abilities, such as mind control and telepathy, combined with high-level spellcasting. They are resistant to many forms of damage and can control other undead.  

Phylactery:

Their phylactery is often an object infused with both psionic and necromantic energy, allowing them to regenerate if their body is destroyed.  

Tactics:

Illithiliches use a combination of psionic attacks, powerful spells, and manipulation to control and dominate their enemies. They often operate from hidden lairs, protected by a network of minions and traps.  

Goals:

Illithiliches seek to amass power and knowledge, often aiming to dominate other beings and accumulate rare artifacts. Their goals are usually grand and sinister, involving manipulation and control on a large scale.
