Kolisk
History
Kolisk was an uninhabited world at the end of the Imperial crusade, with pilgrims arriving shortly after. They turned the lush world into a place of devotion to the Emperor, creating the Holy City of Kolisk as the capital. The Koliski prospered, up until 970.M41, when Inquisitor Luther Malax seized control.
Kolisk became the world where Malax would lead his Dominate, later the Blood Cult. He would launch his first armies from here, the Kolisk regiments being the most fierce, due to their fanatical devotion to Malax. In the later stages of the war, the world would be the final bastion against Imperial forces, lasting two years after the war's official end.
To this day, Kolisk is occupied by forces of the Imperial Guard. Riots and resistance still exist, due to the fact the planet has become backwater. Nobody is moving to the planet, and none are allowed to leave. It has become the poorest world in the sub-sector.
