The Whirlpool of the Great Sea Spider was a dark whirlpool at the center of an atoll off the coast of Daidoji lands. This whirlpool was the tunnel web of Daikumo-no-Kami, the Great Sea Spider. The ancient being rested at its center, deep at the ocean floor, where no light could reach it.
