Chasmed World
The Chasmed world was, for a time, thought to be a curiosity. Its surface has been worn by time and long-vanished rivers into great canyons, some kilometers deep. The bright light of the system’s two stars barely illuminates the depths, where, so it is said, genestealers and stranger things breed in the darkness. It is also rumored that, beneath the unstable spires of mud and sandstone, a great fleet of xenos ships is buried. The Ma’kao dynasty has set up deep space monitoring stations and sends regular patrols into the system.
