The Order of Merlin
The Order of Merlin is a secretive and elite order of high sorcerers within the Eternal Empire, that are said to report directly to the Emperor himself. Many high ranking System Lords are members of the order, though not every System Lord is a member. The order is tasked with safe gaurding the Artifacts of Merlin as well as keeping all sorts of arcane knowledge and secrets. Many rumors circulate about the dark rituals and ancient magics they practice to maintain their hold over the empire.
