05. The Demonskar Legacy

In Chapter Five unrest in Cauldron grew as taxes were raised and half-orc mercenaries were employed to bolster the guard. This unrest culminated in the Cauldron Tax Riots which the party were involved in trying to stop. They were invited to a meeting of the mysterious Chisel organisation in Redgorge and went there to see if they could also find Alek Tercival, Morgan's cousin, who had disappeared recently.   Just before disappearing Alek had been convinced to lay down a challenge to Lord Terseon about his leadership of the city guard. This lead to Lord Terseon declaring Alek possessed by demons and organising an army to march on Redgorge and find Alek. The party knew they had to find Alek first and get him to withdraw his challenge to the guard captain. During their investigations into Alek's disappearance the party found clues leading them to believe he might have been last seen exploring the ruins on the edge of the infamous Demonskar and finally they resigned to going there to search for him...
