Managrahn Marines

The Managrahn Marines are the supreme naval power in the The Underdark, patrolling the dark waters and shores of Lake Grahla. The subterranean river that flows from Brev into Lake Grahla has made it easy in the past for the Managrahn Marines to row their ships right up to the gates of Brev and take control of the city, leaving a lasting resentment for the Marines in the houses of Brev. The only real threat to the Marines while they are on the water are submariners from Sluicestad, though Aqua Nova is careful to maintain their trade relationship with Managrah. Back in the glory days of the Deep Line Expansion, there were a few battles between coastal armored trains, and ships from Managrah, with devastating losses for the Marines. Since then the Marines have been careful to block or destroy any and all tracks near the water, and conflicts between Conductors and Marines are still common. Without the winds from the surface, the Managrahn Marines make extensive use of slave power to row their ships.
