Verona Foothills
The Verona Foothills slope gently southwest of Lower Astagan, and are situated between the Astagan Forest in the Northwest and the Giria Plains in the Southeast. As such, the Verona Foothills divide the eleven settlements in northwest Astagan from the human, tiefling, and dwarven settlements of southeast Astagan. The foothills are widely known as a barren unfarmable landscape, leaving those who trek through the region vulnerable to the elements and starvation.
