Rollian Outwash

The Rollian Outwash plains buffer the Aleppi mountains in the west from the Verderian Forest in the East. The landscape was formed by ancient glaciers that moved across the landscape, depositing glacial erratics before rapidly ablating. A trek across the Rollian Outwash comes with it scree, sharp slabs of marbe and slate, massive boulders, and a generally unstable footing.    The western portion of the Rollian Outwash has seen regular rockslide activity driven by the active fault line on the northeastern portion of the Aleppi mountains. However, it's widely known that this region provides a unique mineral outcropping used in the forging of masterwork items.   The eastern portion of the Rollian Outwash gradually transitions into rolling green hills, which remain mostly uninhabited today.
