Brief History
Born to wealthy parents, he attended the best schools and proved to be quite an adept scholar. He developed a deep interest in the Risings and after school continued his studies on this topic. Although having no magical ability himself, he attended the magic academy in his home city, as it had the largest collection of resources regarding the Risings. He began working on several theories as to the cause of the Risings, and his work caught the eye of a member of the Imperial court, who encouraged his studies.Appearance
Pale skinned from years spent cloistered in study. Short black hair, clean shaven. Tall but slight of frame. Expensive clothing, which is not really practical for on board a ship, but doesn't take great amounts of care over his appearance, often looking unkempt.Personality and Traits
Has a high handed and self important attitude, is self serving, Laughs at his own jokes, which usually only he finds funny. Is rather demanding. Is very knowledgeable on the history and effects of the rising, has his own theories on what is causing them. Very passionate about his work and always willing to answer questions about it, in fact it is sometimes hard to shut him up.
