Play Session 7/12/21 - The Curious Summons
-After dispatching the green dragon, the group gleaned as much information as it could from the remaining human cultist.
1. He was the "new guy" and knew next to nothing.
2. The three were collecting gold to hand off to another group. Unusually it was done at drop off locations with no interaction.
3. The guy can only remember that they dealt with someone who wore purple. (May or may not be useful)
4. The group wore green masks.
5. They also wore a medallion with a Tiamat symbol.
6. They were trying to recruit this dragon to help them.
-The group went back that evening from Thundertree to Jorn's keep to rest, recoup, and determine next steps.
-No obvious next steps presented themselves until a raven flew in with a sealed scroll tube tied under its neck.
-Jilfaen rolled crummy on her animal handling check and was hurt the bird would not come to her. It hopped up on Jorn's finger.
-The case contained a teleportation scroll (which our beloved half dragon sorcerer Cava gladly took) and a letter of summons to meet with a paladin belonging the Order of the Gauntlet.
-The group spent the night at Jorn's keep with the instructions to make up their mind by morning whether to embark on the journey in the morning.
-Cava drew the teleportation circle and the whole group agreed to head to wherever it would take them.
-They arrived in Waterdeep just as an earth tremor and odd static electricity event happened. The group chocked it up to the magical effects of teleportation having never traveled in that way before.
-The paladin was named Ontharr Frume and was a large boisterous human. His order had asked us to give an overview of our encounter and to see if it was a larger dragon cult issue on the continent. This seemed to be the case.
-The Harpers also had a contingent at the Order's headquarters which struck us as odd. There seemed to be a lot of arguing and heated debate between the participants.
