Blaserei
Far to the East in the The Kingdom of Excelsis lies a settlement in the heart of an enormous and ancient crater. It is said that an ancient fire burns within heart, pulsing and pumping life throughout the land. The beauty and irregularity of this area, the ground bathed in worn metals, and the dancing flames reaching for the stars from which they came inspired the people to capture the heat in shapes and artworks of glass. Thus, the art of glassblowing was born. Blaserei is revered for this artwork, artists gaining fame and fortune for their works of stretched and shifting glass, drawing from the most vibrant colors under Excelsis' sun. It is a small settlement, with furnaces in nearly every household and only one small inn, called the Graceful Breath, as they do not often get visitors.
Industry & Trade
They trade with The Oasis for most money, higher ups of the church as well as aristocrats, mostly from the Gilded District, buy from them.
The Festival of Glass
The Festival of Glass in an annual event in the Oasis, celebrating the artistic achievements of the nation through the city of Blaserei. Elaborate displays are put up in buildings and on the streets, showing the glory and majesty of the Kingdom. Glassblown sculpures depicting fire, golden light, the environments and nature of the kingdom, and each thing that sparks inspiration within the talented minds in celebrated.
