Declaration of Rights Under the Red Sun
"To be freed from the yoke of oppression that has been placed upon us all is the right of every man, woman, and child in the world. They are born with it, even if they do not act upon it, but we are hear to stoke the flames within those who don't.
Please, I implore you to read through this pamphlet and see the truth of the words of the Red Sun. If you are seeing it in the first place, you're almost certainly the sort that we're looking for. If that assumption is right, then meet with us. Speak with us. We'd love to have you.
A pamphlet that has found itself plastered over many towns and cities in the southeast, the "Declaration of Rights Under the Red Sun" stands out as an example of anarchist literature for its lack of a source.
While the pamphlet is regularly spotted and references the real group, the Band of the Red Sun, it is not actually printed by the group referenced within the text itself. A difficult thing to accept, to be sure, but this particular anarchist group lacks the resources to print such large amounts of literature, not to mention the personnel to apply it in such a large scale and without anyone seeing their application.
If one looks at individual examples of the pamphlet, they do not all phrase the so-called 'rights' they espouse in the same way from example to example, nor do they make reference to the same locations for meetings or other gatherings. No matter the local authorities' attempts to limit the placement of the pamphlets (through threats, patrols, or what have you), it is never successful.
