Guild Factor

A guild factor is a special role usually filled by a journeyman who either shows no inclination or aptitude to become a master. This role can vary depending on the guild, but is usually something of a quartermaster, clerk, or project manager (and often all of these), helping to manage the business and keep things running smoothly while the Master and other Journeymen focus on the trade itself. Guild Factors can often represent the guild in matters of diplomacy with other guilds or organizations as well.
